Valley Occupational Learning & Technology is a San Joaquin Regional training institute for incumbent workers looking to up-skill, individuals looking for a career change, or people not working at all. Applicants must be 18 years of age, and pass an ACT WorkKeys assessment (level 4). The purpose of VOLT is to bridge the skills gap and to get people into good paying jobs as soon as possible. We teach communication, leadership, professionalism, problem-solving, lean principles, teamwork, and then get into the technical skills of being a maintenance mechanic.
